It is our belief to join people together in the circle of
life through a ceremony that shares their lives making it a memorable and
meaningful one.
White Swan Celebrations is about creating ceremonies for
moments in life that deserve care and attention.
We respect all religions, beliefs and philosophies and ready to customise any
ceremony or service accordingly.
It is very important that you find a Celebrant who will
listen to your needs and assist you in creating your special day, since we at
White Swan Celebrations believe that each couple is unique.
No doubt your wedding day is the most precious day in your life, choosing the
right Civil Celebrant that you can trust and feel comfortable with is essential
for you.
Preparations and Rules:
1- Both
the bride and groom need to be aged 18 years or over.
2- A
Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be completed and lodged with your
Civil Celebrant no less than one month prior to your Wedding day.
3- The
Civil Celebrant must also sight your full Australian Birth Certificates
(original) prior to your marriage ceremony. If you weren’t born in
Australia, a foreign birth certificate ( must be officially translated
into English), or a valid overseas Passport issued from the Government
authority of the Country you were born in is an acceptable form of ID.
4- If
either party has been previously been married, a Certificate of Decree
Absolut (if divorced) must also be produced. If the spouse is deceased, a
full Death Certificate is required.( all certificates if in another
language must be officially translated into English by an authorised
interpreter or translator service).
5- Two
witnesses over the age of 18 years must be present at your marriage
ceremony.
After completing all the necessary documentation,
preparation for the Big Day starts. Selecting the location is one of the most
important issues as the location is a great part of all ceremonies.
A marriage ceremony can take place anywhere in Australia. In NSW there are
countless stunning places you can select from.
After doing all that, it is critical to make your booking
for the location as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.
After all that is done, then it is preferable to set a day
to meet with the couple and discuss in detail the readings or any alternatives
that you would like to include in your ceremony. We can then adjust your
ceremony, ensuring that it compliments you as a couple.
We always recommend a rehearsal, as this gives you, the couple and myself as
your Civil Celebrant the opportunity to talk and walk through your special day
and will hopefully ease any nerves that you may be feeling and put you at ease.
Also providing you with a copy of your ceremony of your special day and a
beautifully presented Certificate of Marriage.
The Big Day:
I will be at the Wedding Location early to set up and liaise
with other service professionals:
videographer , musicians, photographer and the function organizer if you choose
not to use our management services.
After taking care of all the essential parts and make sure all is set and ready
to start, the ceremony will be announced and I will guide you through the
ceremony and pronounce you as husband and wife and witness the signing of the
papers .
Present to you The Certificate of Marriage and formally introduce you as a
Husband and Wife .
Booking for your wedding day:

It is best to contact your civil celebrant as soon as you
set up the wedding day. Check the Contact page for my contact details, I will
be happy to answer any of your questions.
A renewal ceremony is similar to a wedding and in some
situations more important. It gives couples the opportunity to reaffirm their
vows and make a solid recommitment to their marriage.
Who needs Renewal ceremony:
1- To
celebrate a wedding anniversary. example: 5 Years, 25 Years (Silver), 50
(Golden)
2- To
share your marriage celebration with close guests who weren’t at the
original ceremony.
3- If
any couple feel the need for such a ceremony when their original wedding
ceremony, wasn’t meaningful.
A Momentous Service
A funeral service is a personal and sensitive service to
farewell the one we love and wish them well for their journey in the new and
better place they are in.
Our service doesn’t include anything of a religious nature but may reflect a
soft level of spirituality that will offer peace and hope.
We always encourage the family and close friends to help choose the readings
and music that is appropriate and pay tribute.
White Swan choose to make its services very personal and non-traditional
customising them to suit the life of the deceased and be spiritual or
semi-religious.
As we know, death of a loved one is a very sad moment. We always reflect in our
services by celebrating the life of the deceased and not their death and by
remembering how special that person was in our lives.
Naming Ceremony
A Naming ceremony provides parents and families with an amazing opportunity to welcome their child officially into a caring family. By choosing the Child’s name that he or she will hold forever it is a great and important day for the family to celebrate.
An occasion to wish hope and health for the new Child and witness this special day, the day that child was named. This ceremony is an important part of receiving them into the family and shares with them the true meaning of being part of something wonderful in life.
A naming ceremony for a young child is a non-religious service, similar to that of a Christening. It gives people an opportunity to offer their support to your child’s future development. It is a happy experience that can include your relatives and friends and often has readings or music, chosen especially for the occasion.
Participating in a naming ceremony brings parents, grandparents, godparent relationships closer and are often bonded more deeply.
What will be done:
A Naming Certificate is signed during the ceremony by the parents, witnesses and the Celebrant. This certificate isn’t and cannot be used as a proof of identification; it is more a gesture of love and something to remember for this ceremony.
This ceremony can take place anywhere where it is convenient and proper to organise it, if a park is on your selection always check and see how to book them in advance.
It is advisable to prepare a few things before the ceremony:
• Who will be involved in the ceremony ex: grandparents, godparents?
• Will there be a special gift for your child during the ceremony as a symbol of love so he /she will cherish and care for many years to come?
• Are there any significant readings or poems that you would like to include?
• Any idea will be interesting to add for this special day for your precious one.
